Get ready to create with Raven’s Hallow

Somewhere beyond the fog-covered cliffs of the North Atlantic, in a place deliberately left off every map, Raven’s Hallow remains hidden from the outside world.

Deep beyond the ancient woodland stands an enchanted castle surrounded by forests, rocky highlands, hidden meadows, and grounds that stretch farther than any outsider has ever traveled.

For centuries, Raven’s Hallow has been home to a mysterious gathering of ravens known as The Corvine Order — ancient creatures gifted with an extraordinary magic that allows them to shift their form and take the shape of other beings.

But the purpose of Raven’s Hallow reaches far beyond protecting the castle itself.

When a species somewhere in the world comes dangerously close to extinction, the ancient grounds of the Hallow become a sanctuary.

Far from mankind and beyond any known road or map, threatened creatures are brought to Raven’s Hallow, where they are given shelter, protection, and the space they need to reproduce without hunting, destruction of their habitat, or interference from the outside world.

Over the centuries, dozens of animals believed by mankind to have vanished forever are said to have lived safely within its grounds.

And some of their stories are especially difficult to explain.

The Takahē

For nearly half a century, the outside world believed the takahē had disappeared forever.

Then, in 1948, the large flightless bird was suddenly found alive again.

Within Raven’s Hallow, however, the takahē had never disappeared.

Its numbers had simply grown strong enough for a small population to return home.

The Mountain Pygmy-Possum

For years, the tiny mountain pygmy-possum was known only through fossils, leaving mankind to believe the species had long since vanished.

Then, in 1966, a living animal appeared.

According to the stories of the Hallow, generations of the little creatures had been quietly living among its rocky slopes and hidden mountain passages all along.

The Black-Footed Ferret

By the late twentieth century, the black-footed ferret was believed to have disappeared from the wild.

Then, in 1981, a surviving population was discovered.

To the outside world, it was an extraordinary stroke of luck.

To The Corvine Order, it simply meant another species had finally become strong enough to begin its return.

The Lord Howe Island Stick Insect

For decades, the enormous and unusual Lord Howe Island stick insect was considered extinct.

Yet in 2001, living insects were discovered once again.

Few could explain how a creature thought lost for so long had survived unseen.

Raven’s Hallow had an answer.

Some creatures are much easier to hide than mankind realizes.

The Night Parrot

For much of the twentieth century, sightings of the mysterious night parrot became so rare that many questioned whether any remained at all.

Then, after decades hidden from human eyes, living birds were confirmed again in the twenty-first century.

Perhaps some had survived beyond Raven’s Hallow.

Perhaps others had been there all along.

The Corvine Order does not reveal every secret it keeps.

Watching over Raven’s Hallow are two unlikely keepers: an ancient dark elf and a mysterious green-eyed cat named Emerald.

The dark elf serves as keeper of the castle and protector of its ancient magic, while Emerald quietly watches over the creatures that have found sanctuary within the Hallow.

Together with The Corvine Order, they protect not only the secrets of Raven’s Hallow, but some of the rarest lives left in the world.

Some creatures remain within its grounds for generations.

Some may never leave.

Others eventually become strong enough in numbers to return to the lands where they once belonged.

And every so often, somewhere in the outside world, an animal believed extinct suddenly appears again.

Scientists call it a rediscovery.

History records it as an extraordinary survival.

But those who know the secrets of Raven’s Hallow know something the rest of the world does not.

They were never truly gone.
